Flame Foundation is dedicated to the pure pursuit of knowledge, helping mankind extend its boundaries into the vast untapped regions of the unknown by the collective efforts of individuals from a number of interdisciplinary studies. I am Jeramiah Hocutt, a mathematics major in college, and I have a desire to break down the borders of race, religion, and ethnicity and bring to the world a foundation of scholarly people for the progression of knowledge. This is an attempt to bring back the Vienna Circles that existed in the early nineteen-hundreds before WWII. The Vienna Circles were places where great minds all gathered to talk about their ideas and problems, all for improving our knowledge. Their discussions encompassed many different disciplines including Mathematics, Physics, Logic, Philosophy, ect. In these places the flame of knowledge was ever burning and from these embers we hope to rekindle those circles into the knowledge circles of today. We are actively looking for members to participate in e-mail discussions across a broad curriculum of scholarly topics with the hope of creating modern day knowledge circles that will rival those in Vienna during the nineteen hundreds.
